Vector Control of Electric Reclaimer

Aug 29, 2022

Electric reclaimer vector control inverter is a new control idea and control technology for AC motor first proposed by West German B 1 Aschke and others in the 1970s, and it is also an ideal speed regulation method for AC motor. The basic idea of the reclaimer vector control is to divide the stator current of the asynchronous motor into the current component (excitation current) that generates the magnetic field and the current component that produces the torque (torque current) perpendicular to it, and control them separately. Because in this control mode, the amplitude and phase of the stator current of the asynchronous motor must be controlled at the same time, that is, the stator current vector is controlled, and this control mode is called the vector control mode. The vector control method makes it possible to control the asynchronous motor with high performance. The AC speed control system using the vector control method can not only match the DC motor in the speed control range, but also directly control the torque generated by the asynchronous motor.
