What are the components of the electrical control system of a Single Mast Aluminum Lift?
We will only introduce the key electrical components here, in order from the power line entering the control box:
1. Circuit Breaker/Residual Current Device (RCD)
The main function of the circuit breaker is to prevent equipment leakage and protect user safety.
2. Transformer
The function of the transformer is to convert high-voltage electricity to low-voltage electricity, generally 24V or 12V DC, providing the power supply voltage for the entire control system.
3. AC Contactor and Relay
The AC contactor mainly serves as the control switch for the hydraulic pump station. When the control system energizes and closes the AC contactor, the AC current passes through the contactor to operate the pump station.
The relay, as a low-voltage control component, is mainly used to detect whether limit switches and other limit controllers are working.
4. Hydraulic Pump Station
The hydraulic pump station motor is the power source for the entire hydraulic system. It can operate when the AC contactor is activated, controlling the lifting and lowering of the entire single mast aluminum lift.
5. Limit Switch
As the limit device for the aerial work platform, it controls whether the lift runs or stops by changing its closed or open state.
With the above electrical components, a simple control system for an aluminum alloy lifting platform can be constructed. Some more complex control systems may also use PLC control and be equipped with optional gravity detection devices, gyroscope leveling devices, etc.
