The key parameters of a stationary scissor lift platform determine its load capacity, usability, safety, and installation requirements. Choosing the right stationary scissor lift can better meet user needs, increase product lifespan, and reduce maintenance frequency.
1. Rated load capacity refers to the maximum working load (SWL) that the lift platform can safely carry. Standard load capacities for stationary scissor lifts range from 500 kg to 10,000 kg, with heavy-duty models reaching even higher. When selecting a scissor lift with the appropriate load capacity, an adequate safety factor must be ensured, typically 125%–150% of the rated load. For a load of 700 kg, a stationary scissor lift with a rated load of 1000 kg should be selected, and the load needs to be evenly distributed.
2. Platform dimensions determine compatibility with pallets, carts, or equipment.
Common dimensions for stationary scissor lifts include: 1300 × 800 mm, 1500 × 1000 mm, 2000 × 1500 mm, etc. Standard-sized stationary scissor lifts are generally less expensive. The platform of the stationary scissor lift can also be customized according to requirements.
3. Lifting height refers to the vertical distance the platform travels from its lowest to its highest position.
Two parameters need to be distinguished here: maximum height and lifting height. Maximum height refers to the vertical distance from the ground to the highest position of the stationary scissor lift. Lifting height is the vertical distance from the lowest platform position to the highest position of the scissor lift.
The minimum height of a stationary scissor lift varies depending on the load capacity and lifting height. For example, a standard platform stationary scissor lift with a load capacity of 1 ton and a lifting height of 1 meter has a minimum height of 205 mm.
4. In certain specific situations, ultra-low profile scissor lifts can be chosen. Low-profile lift platforms can load pallets without requiring a pit. Ultra-low profile lift platforms can have U-shaped or E-shaped platforms to accommodate pallets.
5. The lifting speed of a stationary scissor lift refers to the time required to lift the platform to its maximum height. Typically 30–60 mm/s, this parameter is affected by the load weight, pump station power, and hydraulic system.
6. The power unit mainly has the following parameters: Motor power: typically 0.75–5.5 kW, Voltage (single-phase 110V/220V, three-phase 380V/415V/480V)
