As the building increases, the guide rail frame of the elevator needs to be increased by adding standard sections. During the heightening process, the following points should be paid attention to:
1. The standard section of the freight elevator should be stored in a dry place close to the installation site.
2. When raising the guide rail frame, the wall frame, cable guide frame, aisle vertical rod, counterweight steel wire rope, cable, etc. should be heightened accordingly.
3. When the freight elevator is running, it should be noted that the head does not stick out of the outer fence of the lifting platform to avoid bumps.
4. When raising the height, it should be operated on the top of the lifting platform.
The methods and steps of increasing the height of the rail frame of the freight elevator are as follows:
1. Press the emergency stop switch to the off position, and install the safety fence and chain of the lifting platform.
2. Use the boom (or crane) to raise the rail frame of the freight elevator to the designated position.
3. Open the lift platform as close as possible to the top of the rail frame, remove the limit switch on the top of the rail frame, and the rubber cover on the top of the rail frame.
4. Apply grease to the elevator chain.
5. Place the standard section on the top of the guide rail frame, fasten the bolts, loosen the hook, and then descend the cage to an appropriate position, and tighten the connecting bolts of the standard section with a torque of 350N·m. Repeat the above work until the desired height.
6. When installing the standard section, the cable guide frame, wall frame and cable pulley guide rail should be installed accordingly.
7. After the installation is completed, put on the rubber cover, and re-install the limit switch. Use the theodolite to check the verticality of the rail frame of the freight elevator to the bottom seating plane.
