Safety Features of Ride-on Stacker for Safe Operation

Ride-on stackers are widely used in warehouses, factories, logistics centers and other material handling scenarios. To ensure the personal safety of operators and the stable operation of equipment, our ride-on stackers are equipped with a variety of professional safety devices. These safety configurations effectively reduce risks such as misoperation, rollover, over-lifting and accidental injury, making the handling process safer and more reliable.

1. Handle Press-down Control

Our ride-on stacker adopts a handle press-down safety control system. The truck can move only when the operating handle is pressed down more than 30 degrees. Once the handle is released, the vehicle stops immediately. This design prevents accidental movement caused by misoperation, collision or improper operation, greatly improving operational safety.

2. Dual Over-height Limiters

Two limit switches are installed on the lifting guide rail of the stacker. The first switch activates when the forks reach the rated maximum height and automatically stops the lifting action. The second switch acts as an emergency high limit, which will cut off power forcibly if the first switch fails, preventing dangers caused by over-lifting, such as equipment damage, cargo falling or mast overturning.

3. Stabilizer Wheels for Anti-rollover

When the lifting height of the stacker exceeds 3.5 meters, the 560mm-wide forks may increase the center of gravity and cause rollover risks. To solve this hidden danger, specially designed stabilizer wheels are added to expand the chassis support area, improve overall stability, reduce side-turning probability and ensure safe operation at high lifting heights.

4. Safety Arm Guards

Safety arm guards are configured around the operating station to limit the operator's body movement. They prevent the operator from leaning out or shifting during turning or traveling, avoiding extrusion, falling and other accidental injuries, providing all-round physical protection.

5. Emergency Stop Button

A prominent emergency stop button is installed on the control panel of the stacker. In case of emergency, pressing the button will immediately cut off the power supply of the whole machine, stopping all actions including lifting, traveling and steering. This function provides a rapid safety response to avoid accidents and protect both personnel and equipment.
