How can we fit more mobile scissor lifts into a shipping container?
Mobile scissor lifts are designed with shipping container dimensions in mind, so smaller scissor lifts generally have a length of no more than 2.2 meters. This perfectly fits the 2.2-meter door opening of a standard shipping container, maximizing cargo capacity. The self-height of a mobile scissor lift is generally 1.9 meters. If you add the 1-meter height of the guardrail, a standard shipping container cannot accommodate it. To solve this problem, we made the guardrails of the mobile scissor lift detachable. When transportation is needed, the guardrails are removed and laid flat on the lift platform. This reduces the total height of the lift to 2 meters, while a standard shipping container has a height of 2.2 meters, allowing for easy loading of the mobile scissor lift. For scissor lifts with a lifting height exceeding 10 meters, the length is approximately 2.4 meters, which cannot be placed horizontally in a container. If placed vertically, a 20-foot container can only hold two units. To solve this problem, we made the ladder of the lift detachable, saving 20 cm of space, which perfectly fits the container's loading dimensions. This allows a 20-foot container to hold four units, significantly improving the space utilization of the container and reducing transportation costs.
