During the meshing process of the gears of the electric stacker forklift, the surface of the gear teeth is subjected to a concentrated load. The wheel teeth of the electric forklift can be regarded as a cantilever beam. The bending stress at the root of the wheel tooth is very large, and there is stress concentration at the transition fillet, so the root of the wheel tooth is prone to breakage. There are two situations in which the gears of the electric stacker forklift are broken. One is that the gears are impacted by a sufficiently large sudden load, which causes the gears to break, and the broken section is coarse-grained. The other is that under the action of repeated loads, fatigue cracks appear in the maximum stress area of the tooth root, and after the cracks gradually expand to a certain depth, the gear suddenly breaks. The fractured section has a smooth surface in the fatigue fracture part and a coarse-grained surface in the sudden fracture part. The fracture of gears in the electric stacker transmission is mostly fatigue damage.
