





Dual-guide-rail freight elevators (also called double-mast cargo lifts/two-guide freight lifts) maintain platform balance through a combination of structural design, guidance systems, and synchronization mechanisms.
1. The material thickness of the guide rail type freight elevator must meet requirements. Using inferior materials to prioritize price will cause deformation of the elevator guide rails, leading to uneven lifting platforms and safety risks.
2. The hydraulic cylinders must maintain the same pressure. This issue is not a problem when the lifting height of the freight elevator is relatively low. However, if the lifting height exceeds 5 meters, the pressure of the two cylinders will differ due to inherent errors. To prevent this, high-precision cylinders must be selected, and a check valve and flow divider should be added to the hydraulic pump station to maintain consistent pressure between the two cylinders.
3. A platform leveling wire rope should be added. Generally, only freight elevators with large load capacities or high lifting heights are equipped with platform leveling wire ropes. Because heavy-duty freight elevators are prone to uneven load distribution during loading, a leveling steel wire rope is added to the outermost part of the lifting platform to prevent uneven load distribution on the front and back of the lifting platform from causing the guide rail slider to shift.
4. Regular maintenance is essential to ensure that the tension of the chains and steel wire ropes at the two cylinders of the guide rail type freight elevator remains consistent.
