Detailed design of stand-up stacker

Oct 22, 2025

Stand-on pallet trucks have a support plate on the back of their vehicles. When not on board, the plate remains upright. When needed, the user can lower the tailgate of a stand-on pallet truck and stand on it. Due to the pneumatic spring at the bottom of the tailgate, if the tailgate is simply lowered, without anyone standing or weighing it down, the tailgate will slowly rotate until it returns to its vertical position. Alternatively, if the tailgate remains in place, the truck can be used as a fully automatic walk-behind stacker. The handlebars of stand-on stackers have a push-down protection feature; the stacker can only move normally if the handle is depressed 45 degrees. A pneumatic spring also exists at the bottom of the handlebar, automatically returning it to its original position when the stacker is no longer in use. Stackers operate in two modes: full speed and slow speed. When moving pallets close to the rack, slow speed is used to accurately move the pallet. The forks can be lowered to the bottom of the pallet and the stacker can be moved slowly. When moving pallets, full speed is used to improve efficiency. The switch between the two modes is the button with a turtle pattern on the back of the handle. Press this button and the stacker will move slowly, and if it is not pressed, it will move at full speed.
