If the table width of a fixed scissor lift is less than 3 meters, the side cutting and screwing method can be used. This involves cutting 40 cm off each side of the 3-meter-wide table, bending the sides, and drilling screw holes. This results in a 2.2-meter-wide table for transport, which fits neatly inside the container. Upon arrival, simply reattach the cut sections with screws to resume normal use. This method is relatively simple and only requires a wrench for assembly and use.
3. Center Cut Method
When the width of a fixed scissor lift platform is greater than 3 meters, cutting the sides can easily cause uneven stress on the platform, leading to deformation. The best solution is to cut it in the middle, bend it, and drill screw holes. After receiving the lift platform, reassemble the platform and, after securing it with screws, preferably weld it to ensure full strength. However, this method will leave a weld seam in the middle of the platform, which does not affect its use, but is unsightly.
