Can an elevating lift cart be used as an electric ladder?
An electric lift cart without special design is not permitted for use as an electric ladder. This is because electric scissor lift tables have a flat platform without any safety features. When users are lifting, the platform is prone to wobbling, and without guardrails, users can easily slip and fall, causing accidents. If users wish to use the elevating lift cart for multiple purposes, they can communicate with the manufacturer to have guardrails included in the production process and to make the four wheels of the lift cart repositionable. This allows the guardrails to be removed when moving objects and reattached when standing on the platform. However, the working height using a mobile scissor lift cart cannot exceed 2.5 meters.
